If every other album isn't on some lazy trap-house beats and lollipop lyrics old heads who should have sat down years ago are straight embarrassing themselves.
In keeping with the spirit of the blog which is not to name and tear down artists I simply won't mention the sucky albums.
Let's get right to it shall we.
I was really not expecting much when I put the Freeway album on my playlist. Freeway has been sick for awhile so just seeing the brother put out anything was a good look. I have always like this cat.
To my surprise this joint was smoking.
First of all Freeway's flow is as ferocious and intelligent as ever but the production of the music was really what took me aback most. This shit is actually pretty hot. I'm sorry I doubted dude and Babygrande Records. My bad homie.
You must check out this joint if you really love hip hop.
Oh and I have no opinion on Drake's album because as of May 3, 2016 he has not released it on TIDAL so it will go into the May folder for reviews. Or whatever month it appears on TIDAL.
The best rap album of April 2016 was Free Will by Freeway. Who'd a thunk it.
